Diameter restrictions in oil and gas wells are one of the major challenges for operators performing remedial work such as zonal isolation, testing, treating and squeeze operations. A tool is required that can pass through small diameter restrictions and set in a larger diameter open or cased hole.
The HPOGC thru-tubing inflatable packers provide a solution to such challenges, while allowing rigless operations without killing the well. The tool can be run and set using coiled tubing systems. The thru-tubing inflatable packer is set using hydraulic pressure, providing a high pressure seal at large inflation ratios (up to 250% of the original diameter). The HPOGC thru-tubing inflatable packer can be retrieved after operations are completed.
